We represent the spirit and innovation of Newfoundland and Labrador's creative talents in the publishing industry. The NLPA encompasses four major publishers from the east coast of Canada; Breakwater Books, Creative Publishers, Jesperson Press and Harry Cuff Publishing. Newfoundland and Labrador has always been and will continue into the next millenium to be a cultural hotbed for talented writers and artists. Newfoundland and Labrador has a long history of publishing accomplishments to account for with international bestsellers in fiction, poetry and educational resources as well as many more genres. Newfoundland and Labrador has also encompassed the multimedia format with the formation of Softwaves Educational Software. Newfoundland and Labrador Publishers have as well grasped the attention of the film-making industry in Hollywood, with directors and producers showing tremendous interest in our stories and tales.
